What you can learn in an Advanced Snowboard Lesson

There are many ways to improve your riding skills whether it be fine tuning a trick to look stylish, or just working on technique so you can ride harder, longer!

I tailor each lesson to the individual and may use several different methods to help you acheive your goal. I frequently use a digital video camera on hill to help you get a good visual idea of the movements you are making. Video is the ideal way to get instant feedback on your riding. With private lessons you get a free video to take home.

PARK

How to control a spin (180,360, 540, 720's)
How to spot landings when spinning (Frontside/backside), or flipping
How to grab while spinning
Overcoming fear of rails

PIPE

Increasing amplitude in the pipe
Introducing spins and grabs in the pipe

HILL

Advanced mogul techniques
Advanced carving (Soft or hard boots)
Trees and powder

I am constantly training to improve my certifications, and improve my capablilities as a teacher. I strive to be versatile and have certifications in all areas of snowboarding.
